Description

Job Summary: The Compensation Analyst II will play a critical role in evaluating and analyzing compensation programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the organization's objectives. This position requires a solid understanding of compensation principles and the ability to handle complex data analyses.

No supervisory/management authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathers data from market analyses to assess results and market trends.
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Prepares and maintain compensation structures and salary ranges.
  • Prepare detailed compensation reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyze and interpret compensation data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and administer the annual merit increase and bonus processes.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of incentive and rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders on compensation-related projects.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and 3 or more years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency working in HRIS systems and compensation software with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Maturity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
  • Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting and may require visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot/cold temperatures, dust, loud noise and chemical fume exposure.
  • Sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
  • Work may require travel, including overnight stays.
