Compensation Analyst

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Own the end-to-end sales commission program, including design, modeling, documentation, administration and any ongoing updates.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to shape plan structure, KPIs, payout model and eligibility rules.
  • Model and analyze proposed plan changes to assess financial impact, alignment with performance, and potential risks or unintended consequences.
  • Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking using salary surveys and internal data to maintain competitive pay structures.
  • Support annual compensation planning, merit cycles, range updates and job architecture.
  • Perform pay equity analyses and create recommendations to ensure fairness and compliance.
  • Build salary structures, leveling frameworks and pay bands for new and evolving roles.
  • Design and administer performance-based incentive programs for non-sales teams.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting for compensation, commission performance, attainment trends, and incentive program effectiveness.
  • Support compliance with wage/hour rules, incentive pay regulations, and internal audit processes.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation, finance or a related field, ideally with direct ownership of commission plans.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with HRIS, CRM and commission tracking tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
  • Knowledge of compensation compliance practices preferred
