The Compensation Analytics Analyst is responsible for developing and delivering data-driven insights to support compensation programs and decision-making. This role focuses on reporting, modeling, and analysis to ensure compensation practices are informed by accurate, timely, and actionable data. The position partners with Compensation team members to support program effectiveness, identify trends, and provide analytical support across the organization.
Essential Functions
GENERAL DUTIES
-Support the execution of compensation programs in alignment with established strategy, guidelines, and processes
-Analyze compensation data to support decision-making and ensure consistency in application
-Collaborate with Compensation team members to support priorities and initiatives
-Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of compensation data across systems
-Provide guidance to leaders and team members on compensation processes and expectations
-Identify issues or inconsistencies and escalate as appropriate
-Maintain documentation, procedures, and records related to compensation activities
-Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the department
FOCUS AREAS – ANALYTICS
-Develop and maintain compensation dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, UKG, Salary.com)
-Perform cost modeling and scenario analysis related to compensation programs
-Conduct pay equity and compression analyses
-Monitor compa-ratio trends and identify potential risks
-Validate and reconcile data across systems to ensure reporting accuracy
-Translate data into clear insights to support decision-making
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-3 years experience in compensation, HR, finance, or a related field
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-Experience with compensation systems and tools
