Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing analytical support for the design and execution of compensation programs aligned with business strategy. Key responsibilities include conducting data analysis, benchmarking, and supporting program administration under the guidance of senior consultants or managers. Job expectations include applying independent judgment and contributing to compensation strategy through accurate and timely insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports compensation program design through data analysis and benchmarking

  • Administers compensation processes in alignment with organizational guidelines

  • Prepares line of business compensation reporting and analysis throughout the year, and particularly for the year-end compensation review process

  • Collaborates with senior consultants and managers to execute compensation strategies

  • Supports and advises on compensation related activities including but not limited to new hire offers, promotions, talent retention and year-end forecasting

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Compensation experience or successful performance in a role with strong analytical focus

  • Data/quantitative analysis experience and strong analytical and problem-solving skills – experience gathering, organizing, analyzing, and presenting large amounts of data clearly and concisely to help make fact-based decisions, inclusive of data mining and ad-hoc reporting

  • Have strong MS EXCEL skills (familiar with complex pivot tables, data filtering, lookups)

  • Demonstrate experience creating high impact presentations utilizing PowerPoint and the ability to clearly “tell the story” with complex underlying data; be able to analyze present-state, and develop alternative future-state approaches

  • Have a project/program management background and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Demonstrate a business-centric mindset with the ability to utilize sound judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes

  • Be a demonstrated self-starter and a results-oriented professional who can develop and manage relationships across multiple groups

  • Be a team player and display a strong work ethic

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of Compensation issues and priorities; effectively analyze and diagnose problems; provide clear advice and recommendations to help make sound business decisions
