Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Analyst, Sales Compensation to join our Sales Compensation Strategy & Design team. This role will help develop compensation programs that drive seller performance, align to company strategy, and support scalable growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, an understanding of sales compensation design principles, and an eagerness to contribute, learn, and develop in a dynamic environment.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

Design simple, effective, and market aligned sales compensation plans including defining performance measures, calculation mechanics, payout curves, and quotas

Develop accurate, scalable analytical models to evaluate compensation design scenarios, conduct sensitivity analysis, forecast financial impact, and identify areas of risk

Evaluate incentive effectiveness, identifying whether plans drive intended behaviors and outcomes

Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize plan structures considering job content, sales strategy, and sales motions

Execute assigned deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness; clearly communicate risks, blockers, or deadline challenges.

Translate complex data stories into clear, compelling visualizations that support leadership decision-making

Serve as a functional SME on sales channels—understanding channel nuances, data structures, and how compensation mechanics tie to performance and payout.

Build models and analytical tools to support plan design recommendations

Support change management by developing presentation materials, FAQs, and training content for new or updated plans

Leverage industry benchmarks, market data, and best practices to inform compensation strategy and plan competitiveness

Stay current with sales compensation trends, best practices, and industry trends relevant to our organizations

Advanced proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, SQL, BI platforms, statistical tools) and ability to build accurate, scalable models.

Demonstrated experience turning complex data sets into clear stories, insights, and visual outputs.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to operate independently.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex issues for executive audiences.

Detail orientated with a proven track record of execution accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Understanding of incentive compensation concepts, performance metrics, and sales commission operations.

Experience in sales compensation design, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related analytics discipline.

Experience in consulting or within a centralized Sales Compensation or Strategy CoE.

Intermediate knowledge of statistical concepts and application to modeling techniques such as monte carlo simulations

Basic knowledge of broad-based compensation concepts that are relevant to sales compensation, such as total target compensation and pay mix

Experience supporting complex or matrixed organizations.

Exposure to predictive analytics, automation tools, or advanced data processing frameworks.

Relevant certifications and/or training (e.g., World at Work CSCP)
