Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst (Contract Talent) to join the Enterprise Compensation department. 

The Incentive Compensation Senior Analyst is responsible for the design, administration, and analysis of incentive compensation programs to ensure they drive employee performance and align with business objectives. This role involves advanced data analysis, financial modeling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize compensation structures. The Senior Analyst also plays a key role in process improvements, system enhancements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

What You'll Do

Advanced Analysis and Modeling

  • Design, evaluate and change commission type compensation plans for our field employees, based on business strategies, leadership objectives and role requirements.
  • Designs complex models for the purposes of cost structure analysis, sensitivity analysis, impact analysis, and other analysis that are required for the development of incentive compensation plans.
  • Conducts compensation plan sensitivity, cost and behavioral analyses to assess plan effectiveness, affordability and alignment with the desire behaviors.

Job Evaluation

  • Partners with internal stakeholders and external survey providers to benchmark field roles, ensuring competitive and market-aligned pay positioning.
  • Identifies correct benchmark positions for participation in compensation surveys and market studies.

Customer Consulting

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to field leadership on the design, modification and rollout of commission-type incentive compensation plans.
  • Provide guidance on plan trade-offs, employee impacts, performance differentiation and risk mitigation.
  • Support communication strategy and training for field leadership and HR partners to ensure a clear understanding of plan mechanics and performance expectations.

Leadership and Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Compensation Analyst(s).
  • Train team members on advanced incentive comp modeling techniques, best practices and common pitfalls, for commission-type plans.
  • Provides guidance to analysts in conducting and economic reviews and ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales/incentive comp analyst related experience required.
  • Experience working with sales/incentive compensation in an international company strongly desired.
  • Exceptional at MS Excel.
  • Can create and modify Macros and VBA.
  • Can create complex models utilizing advanced functions within Excel.
  • Experience gathering data from different types of systems like Workday, MS Access, SQL Databases.
  • Proficient in using MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with an ICM system a strong plus.
  • Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) preferred.

Other Essential Qualifications

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is essential.

  • Experience managing small to mid-size compensation projects ranging from simple to complex in scope.

  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently.

  • Must be flexible to work within fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Must be able to work with highly confidential data and maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Proven ability to work with all levels of management, including senior level management.

  • Experience with Market Pricing jobs, using a number of different surveys.

  • Experience pricing jobs in international locations strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to work with highly confidential data and maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • High degree of critical thinking and problem solving.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$46.15 - $69.71
