Responsibilities:
- Designs, configures, and tests reports and dashboards based on functional requirements for the different business process streams/Workday modules. Reviews existing reports and continuously improves them;
- Supports the ongoing overall harmonization and optimization of reports, focusing on a lean setup;
- Fosters a data-driven culture and supports data literacy of Workday stream communities. Supports data quality in Workday and the delivery of valuable and reliable data. Assesses risks associated with data storage;
- Solves 3rd level support tickets in reporting and compensation. Supports configuration and testing of compensation solutions in alignment with technical and functional compensation stream lead;
- Supports the technical/functional compensation stream lead during the specification/qualification of new requests/solutions while ensuring that the defined guideline for new demands in the Workday context is followed. Analyses and challenges requests and identifies cross-stream impacts;
- Designs, configures, and tests system solutions within the Workday Compensation module. Reviews existing processes and makes data-driven suggestions for improvements;
- Educates the Workday stream communities and the streams leads about new technical features and supports internal Workday trainings (e.g. provides reporting trainings for key users or develops content for such trainings);
- Serves as a Workday Reporting expert with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas and in consideration of future product direction;
- Mentors other team members and actively shares knowledge with them to support their self-sufficiency in reporting. Cooperates with external partners and networks with Workday and other Workday customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in the field of informatics, business informatics, business intelligence or a comparable education;
- Ideally, Workday Pro certification in reporting/compensation (or equivalent experience);
- Ideally, previous experience in the configuration of modern cloud HCM systems (ex. Workday Compensation);
- Proven Workday reporting skills (Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports) and advanced knowledge of calculated fields. Ideally, knowledge in data modelling and SQL;
- Understanding of Workday’s security model to ensure reports respect user roles and permissions;
- Fluent in English, additional language is beneficial (e.g. German);
- Ideally, possess skills in using BIRT for creating highly formatted custom reports and be familiar with Workday PRISM Analytics;
- Ideally, familiarity with compliance and regulatory reporting requirements in HR;
- Analytical, structured way of working and high problem-solving ability;
- Reliability, flexibility, resilience and friendliness;
- Open minded and able to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
