$240,000 – $380,000+

A leading national law firm is seeking an Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising public and private companies, private equity sponsors, boards of directors, and executive leadership teams on sophisticated employee benefits, executive compensation, and transactional matters.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of employee benefits and/or executive compensation experience
• Experience with qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation arrangements preferred
• Experience with equity compensation, incentive plans, employment agreements, and severance arrangements preferred
• Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate transactions is a plus
• Familiarity with ERISA, Internal Revenue Code provisions, and related employee benefits regulations preferred
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
