The Loudoun County Department of Human Resources is seeking qualified applications for the position of Classification and Compensation Analyst. This is a full-time, regular position. This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule in accordance with the County’s telework policy.
This position will assist the Classification and Compensation unit to support the classification and compensation needs of County departments. The successful candidate will conduct position classification reviews, conduct job and salary analyses to determine proper classification and grade, write job descriptions, complete surveys, and conduct other classification and compensation analyses as assigned.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the theories, principles and practices of classification and compensation management and administration. Additionally, strong project management, data analysis, oral and written communication, policy development, problem solving and decision-making skills are highly desirable. To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be strong in all Microsoft Suite products, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related human resources work experience. Experience with comprehensive research and analysis required.
Local government experience and professional HR certification such as CCP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate, written and verbally, in a clear, concise, manner; be a strong collaborator, critical thinker, develop solutions and facilitate problem solving; and be able to build strong relationships with your HR team, County agencies, and external groups.
Successful candidate will undergo criminal background and credit checks as well as a DMV check
