Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a tech company, who are looking to recruit an experienced Sr Executive Compensation Consultant to join their team based in the Irvine area.

JOB ROLE

As a strategic leader, the Senior Executive Compensation Consultant is in charge of creating and upholding the structure, governance, and analytical framework that underpin compensation in a public business setting.

This position ensures that executive compensation procedures are organized and compliant by concentrating on framework design, planning cadence, coordination, and statutory readiness.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Disciplined planning for Compensation Committee meetings, regulatory disclosures, and yearly filings is made possible by this role's ownership of the executive compensation governance operating model.
  • Own the executive compensation yearly calendar, which includes planning tools for the Compensation Committee and important filing deadlines.
  • Create presentation materials, monitor deliverables, and work with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Focus on executive compensation issues when conducting research and preparing for shareholder engagement sessions.
  • To enable consistent and justifiable executive compensation decisions, clearly define decision frameworks, templates, and documentation standards.
  • Create and manage Excel-based models and studies to assist with scenario planning and executive compensation choices.
  • Assist public-company disclosures and filings (such as proxy/CD&A, 10-K, and 8-K) by collaborating with legal, financial, and outside consultants.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
  • 10+ years of experience in compensation positions, including 7+ years in executive compensation in a publicly traded firm.
  • Strong grasp of reporting cycles, legal requirements, and executive compensation governance.
  • Proven capacity to interact with senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • Advanced analytical and Excel skills, such as data validation, scenario analysis, and modeling.
