A global leader in human capital consulting is hiring a Senior Executive Compensation Consultant to join its Career practice. You will serve as a principal strategist, leading the design and implementation of comprehensive executive compensation programs, including short- and long-term incentive plan design, overall pay strategy for executives and broader employee populations, and complex total rewards solutions. This position partners directly with senior executive management and HR leaders to align rewards programs with business objectives and talent goals in dynamic and competitive markets.
What You'll Own
- Lead and manage high-level client engagements focused on executive compensation strategy, pay benchmarking, incentive plan design, and pay structure modernization
- Develop and execute targeted business development initiatives to grow the firm's Rewards presence across key US markets
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leadership teams, establishing and nurturing strong long-term client relationships
- Advise corporate senior management on expert executive pay considerations across various industries and diverse corporate ownership structures
- Structure, direct, and oversee project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality recommendations and presentations
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to design integrated total rewards solutions that address multi-faceted client demands
- Stay continuously abreast of evolving market trends, shifting regulatory changes, and corporate governance best practices in compensation
- Mentor and develop consulting talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence
- Embrace and utilize AI and technology-enabled systems to build data-driven rewards models and reporting
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience delivering executive compensation or high-level corporate total rewards solutions
- Proven ability to originate sales, expand existing consulting accounts, and manage complex, multi-faceted project delivery
- Deep technical knowledge of executive compensation strategy, short- and long-term incentive program design, regulatory frameworks, and governance methodologies
- Strong client relationship management skills with extensive experience advising and presenting to senior C-suite executives
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaborative leadership abilities
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and coaching talent
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Previous experience leading complex engagements for global organizations with highly matrixed compensation structures
- A documented track record of success expanding existing consulting accounts or driving new business development activities
- Familiarity with modern survey databases, compensation management platforms, and AI-enabled compensation data agents
