Job Summary
The Analyst 2, Sales Compensation plays a critical role in supporting the administration and operational excellence of sales compensation programs across Comcast Business Sales Channels. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of compensation payments, supports system testing and validation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will develop subject matter expertise in compensation plans, tools, and systems, and gain a strong understanding of data flows between Sales, HR, and Finance.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Administer daily and monthly sales compensation processes, including reporting, payroll validation, and approval workflows.
- Validate the accuracy of compensation payments prior to payroll submission, ensuring compliance with plan policies and procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on sales compensation plans, policies, systems, and operational processes.
- Review, approve, and process compensation disputes within the designated system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional field offices to support compensation administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Marketing, Training, Finance, and Legal to understand and improve business processes.
- Document business processes, including problem statements, process flows, job aids, and user guides.
- Support ad-hoc data cleansing and correction efforts to ensure accurate compensation calculations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to identify and resolve issues, risks, and discrepancies using QA best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
