Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

This position is a member of the Total Rewards team reporting into the Sr. Director, Global Compensation. The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and implementing our compensation programs to attract, retain and motivate talent. This position will contribute to our compensation processes such as our annual market analysis cycle and will help operationalize our analytics strategy through tools like Tableau. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in both data analysis and technology solutions, and some background in corporate compensation. This position will support and take part in the overall compensation program development, which may include annual salary structure design, compensation planning process, equity programs and executive compensation. 

This individual will also collaborate with the Compensation Business Partner team who are responsible for driving compensation initiatives and projects in the assigned business organizations. This incumbent will be an active member of the corporate compensation team by providing support and guidance to other team members.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support daily compensation operations processes such as HRIS updates, generating reports, and performing ad-hoc comp analyses as required.

  • Assist and collaborate with the Compensation Partners in recommending changes to compensation programs / policies to support the achievement of strategic business initiatives. 

  • Stay informed on emerging compensation trends and best practices to provide consulting on base salary, variable, and equity programs.

  • Provide ad-hoc support and build strong cross-functional partnerships to meet business needs.

  • Support the design, innovation, and recommendation of new compensation initiatives 

  • Develops and/or participates in compensation surveys to analyze company's competitive position, and build skills on utilization of survey platforms to generate reports, and gather market data as required.

  • Responds to and resolve escalated questions relating to compensation from internal stakeholders. 

  • Serve as tester for systems updates and program launches.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.  Minimum 2-4 years of experience

  • Proven track-record of analysis and implementation of well thought out and practical solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high quality material with meticulous attention to details

  • Must be able to work productively in an environment with high levels of interruption

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills. Proven ability to develop, present and justify positions to all levels within the company.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
