This is a hybrid role located in Sugar Land, Texas. Local candidates only.
What the Compensation Analyst Does Each Day:
- Complete ongoing benchmarking and evaluate appropriateness of current salary bands
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine appropriate salary range, FLSA and EEO classifications
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and compile the information to assess results and market trends
- Oversee annual compensation and bonus planning processes, including market pricing, salary reviews, incentive plan administration, open enrollment and related activities or communications
- Design and administer compensation programs including base pay, variable pay, merit, compensation planning, and market analysis with a focus on continuous improvement
- Serve as compensation approver for all internal and external offer recommendations
- Create and administer reports, dashboards and analytics utilizing workforce demographic and transitional data from multiple sources
- Analyze data for trends and patterns with attention to compensation, benefits, headcount, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Serve as subject matter expert with key stakeholders regarding compensation planning
- While compensation will be the primary focus of the role, this position will also support other areas of the Human Resource department
- Monitor and interpret federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance and inform policy updates, including FLSA, pay equity and minimum wage requirements
- Remain informed on emerging compensation technologies and proactively research and recommend innovative tools and/or systems to enhance compensation processes and analytics
- Update, validate, and correct employee records or other related HR data through established process or imports
- Provide analytical support for HR projects
- Complete annual compensation surveys
- Complete ad-hoc reporting requests in support of HR and business initiatives

Minimum Requirements for this Role:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, employee benefits, and/or HR Analytics
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies
- 18+ years of age
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
