We are seeking a skilled and motivated Compensation Analyst to support our financial operations and contribute to our continued success.
Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our team at MOVATI. In this role, you’ll be a key player in managing and analyzing labour costs, compensation models, and payroll calculations across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who is CPA-designated and has 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality, retail, or fitness, though we’re open to industry backgrounds.
In this role, the Compensation Analyst will play a key part in managing and optimizing compensation and labour analytics across the organization. This includes developing, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and labour metrics. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate and enhance compensation models, perform accurate payroll-related calculations, and ensure the integrity of labour cost reporting. A core focus will be analyzing compensation structures—such as evaluating labour models to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support strategic planning. The successful incumbent will bring strong analytical capabilities to conduct in-depth labour analysis, oversee overtime management, and lead variance analysis that informs data-driven decisions across all levels of the business.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a CPA designation and bring 3–4 years of progressive experience in compensation, payroll, or financial analysis. They will demonstrate strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of labour and compensation modeling. Success in this role requires adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. While experience in the hospitality, retail, or fitness industries is an asset, it is not a requirement.
