Provide guidance and analytical support to enterprise human resource business partners. Participate in compensation surveys, conduct various market analyses to support pay structure designs, job leveling and analytical support for pay programs applicable to store, division and enterprise associates. - Research and provide market data for evaluating new or updated jobs and provide appropriate job leveling guidance to business partners
- Complete market analyses in preparation for scheduled labor contracts, fiscal year pay structure reviews, special projects and ad hoc requests that include comparing actual associate rates and current pay/wage structures to market data, as well as researching other compensation
- Assist in the design and costing of proposed wage progression structures, market-aligned pay ranges and bonus pay plans to support the total rewards strategy
- Coordinate and provide enterprise-wide support to business partners throughout the nonexecutive compensation planning process in accordance with compensation guidelines
- Coordinate with and respond to requests from corporate and division managers related to market analyses, program design and other compensation-related information while following compensation guidelines, policies and contracts
- Complete compensation surveys based on established survey schedules to build a survey library; ensure correct job matching and timely participation; coordinate with PayScale for MarketPay updates
- Assist in managing the compensation survey library and budgets, including standing and new survey acquisitions for improving coverage of enterprise positions
- Generate associate data downloads and create spreadsheets to assist in the development of market analyses and other ad hoc reports
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests related to associate pay programs and other corporate compensation projects
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management presentations
- Work with division HR, Workforce Analytics and/or Kroger Technology to drive data integrity and/or human resource system changes

Minimum
- 1 year of experience preparing analyses and interpreting/applying data to create reports
- Excellent mathematical/analytical skills; ability to identify statistical/data relationships, trends and anomalies
- Ability to explain compensation concepts in a simple/straightforward way to internal customers
- Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent initiative in following through on next steps, discerning the need for additional information and obtaining feedback from stakeholders and other resources
- Excellent attention to detail in providing accurate and quality work deliverables
