World Vision is hiring a Compensation Analyst to serve in the People and Culture division.

Role: Compensation Analyst– Job Architecture and Dayforce Optimization

Reports to: Senior Manager, Benefits and Operations

Project Duration: Part-Time; Limited-Term - 8 months (typically 20 – 30 hours/week)

Location: Remote

Required Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. 5–8 years of experience in compensation, or total rewards.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Estimated Salary Range: $42-50 per hour.

 

The Job

 

As part of a strategic People & Culture optimization initiative, the Compensation Analyst will lead and support efforts to develop and implement a comprehensive job architecture and cataloging framework. This includes job descriptions, aligning roles within a consistent structure, and configuring job-related data within the Dayforce HRIS. The position also supports the ongoing management and enhancement of job description processes across multiple platforms and contributes to system optimization efforts.

 

Responsibilities Will Include

• Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.

• Model existing positions into a drafted Job Architecture, including job families, levels, titling conventions, and career paths for leadership review.

• Conduct job reviews and collaborate with HR Business Partners and managers to write and revise job descriptions for new hires and job revaluations.

• Enter and configure high volume job data and performance data into HRIS Dayforce, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with system requirements. Ensure compliance with compensation policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.

• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of job-related data during the Dayforce optimization phase.

• Maintain the current job description management process across multiple platforms, including Dayforce HRIS, Excel workbooks, Employee facing shared file drive (The Vine), Recruiting system

• Research and recommend enhancements to job description management processes, including historical tracking solutions.

• Contribute to project planning, status reporting, and change management efforts related to job architecture and HRIS configuration.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of Total Rewards and People & Culture initiatives.

   

Required Skills

  • Deep understanding of job architecture principles and compensation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of job data with precision and consistency.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Experience in cross-functional project environments with a focus on optimization and change management.

Tools & Systems

  • HRIS Systems (e.g., Workday, Dayforce)
  • Advanced Excel (Data modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning)
  • Compensation survey platforms (e.g., MarketPay, Mercer, Payfactors).
  • Document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Agile).

 

Requirements:a

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. 5–8 years of experience in compensation, or total rewards. Extensive experience with job architecture frameworks and compensation strategy. Experience with compensation survey data and job evaluation methodologies. Prior involvement in HRIS implementation or optimization projects, preferably with Dayforce.

 

Salary Range & Benefits

·       WVUS Pay Grade Level: 225

·       Estimated hiring range is $42-50 per hour.

·       This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.

·       Job offers are based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
