You as a Compensation Analyst will:

  • Support with the Corporate Annual Compensation process including merit adjustments and profit-sharing program
  • Participate in the administration of the Annual Shares program
  • Assist with compiling data for salary surveys, completing data analysis and drafting responses
  • Contribute in compensation analysis using internal and market data
  • Participate in the EllisDon Pay Equity program including maintaining job descriptions
  • Completing job evaluations
  • Leading the new title creation process
  • Support the implementation of new and existing total rewards programs including data collection, data analysis, developing tools and resources
  • Develop training material and facilitation of sessions for internal stake holders
  • Support with internal communications of program roll-outs
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience 
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Compensation or Total Rewards, with demonstrated hands-on experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking, and job evaluation
  • Knowledge of Total Rewards including compensation, pay equity and profit sharing programs
  • Knowledge in data analytics with advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables and IF statements)
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation including but not limited to pay equity, leaves of absences, and compensation
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability handle multiple priorities.
