Compensation Analyst

Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director of People Analytics, HRIS & Reward, the Compensation Analyst will be responsible for administering compensation programs, analyzing compensation data, identifying technology-driven solutions to optimize processes and workflows, and conducting market research to ensure that our compensation practices are competitive and aligned with our philosophy.

Essential Functions & Key Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain compensation structures, including salary ranges, geo pay differentials, and job classifications

  • Assist in the administration and development of incentive and bonus programs

  • Manage annual raise forecast and salary model for 1,000+ employees

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and National Professional Resource Operations (NPRO) to create, enhance and implement compensation policies and procedures

  • Provide guidance and support to HR, Finance, and NPRO on compensation-related matters

  • Evaluate and analyze job descriptions to ensure accurate and consistent job leveling and titling

  • Conduct market research and analysis to determine competitive total compensation rates and trends

  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze survey data to benchmark compensation practices

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements

  • Prepare and present ad hoc compensation analysis and recommendations

  • Support National Recruiting Operations (NRO) with position-specific compensation ranges and benchmarks during the recruiting cycle

  • Utilize Workday HCM compensation features to manage and configure compensation elements such as grades, packages, plans, and eligibility rules

  • Generate total rewards statements and provide insights into total compensation for managers and employees

  • Work with IT to build Workday reports and configure dashboards to ensure pay equity and fair compensation practices in line with business objectives

  • Work with the Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in relevant fields of study, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance

  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with HRIS and compensation management software

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations

  • Ability to work 9-10 hours per day (or an average of 45 to 50 hours per week) consistently throughout the year

  • Availability to occasionally work nights and weekends

  • Minimum of 10% of travel required

  • Must live within the contiguous U.S.

  • Must live proximate to Siegfried office and have the ability and willingness to work in a Siegfried office as required for an average of four days per week in accordance with Siegfried’s then current policy. (This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of management)
