We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Career Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will write and structure highly customized client presentations and reports, perform advanced data analysis using dynamic Excel modeling, and collaborate closely with project managers and senior consultants to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. This position is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in an office.
What to Expect:
- Develop and review client presentations and exhibits based on collected and calculated data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Perform data analysis to understand financial performance, talent management trends, and pay practices for clients and the broader marketplace.
- Review and oversee Excel exhibits and financial/compensation data analyses prepared by analysts.
- Manage small to medium engagements and provide guidance to project team analysts to ensure timely delivery and achievement of project objectives.
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact for project areas including methodology, data requests, and data management.
- Act as a liaison between Mercer project teams and client secondary contacts, participating in client meetings, fact-finding interviews, and presentations.
- Utilize Mercerβs proprietary tools (e.g., Global Disclosure Database, PayMonitor) and public filings to gather and analyze pay practices and policies.
- Develop and review peer groups for client benchmarking based on revenue, brand, industry, and competitors.
- Support business development activities by assisting with project plan development and pricing.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Project management expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one βanchor dayβ per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $75,500 to $151,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
