We are seeking a talented individual to join our Account Management team at Mercer China. This role will be based in Shanghai Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Owner of assigned industry/location survey projects
- Achieve client satisfaction by ensuring high quality survey project delivery. Provide support to key clients. This requires the incumbent to have strong knowledge in the assigned industry/location.
- Conduct client presentations and complex training sessions (e.g. on compensation planning and budgeting).
- Project deliverables e.g. job matching, IPE etc.
- Mentor/ provide coaching to less experienced consultants
- With guidance from more experienced consultants and/or Industry/Location Leaders, develop business plan for the assigned industry/location. Establish connections with the clients’ C&B Senior Managers/Directors. Build and maintain strong client relationships in the assigned client portfolio (locations/ industries) to achieve business targets.
- Interpret survey findings. Provide industry/location specific insights and advice. Tailor solutions to address clients’ business needs as appropriate.
- Manage compensation and benefits related consulting projects. Leverage support from the project team.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline. Master’s degree preferable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work proactively/motivationally as an independent contributor and as part of a broader team
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to build successful business relationships with people at all levels
- Highly organized and efficient project management skills
- Solid computer skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel to different cities
