About the position:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Compensation Analyst to support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs across the organization. This individual will conduct job evaluations, market pricing, data/market analysis, and support cyclical compensation processes such as incentive planning. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis and a strong understanding of compensation principles, job leveling, and market competitiveness. The work will be performed under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market pricing analysis and job evaluations to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze survey data to benchmark jobs and recommend compensation ranges
  • Assist in the administration of annual salary planning, bonus, and incentive programs
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Recruiters to provide compensation guidance on job offers, promotions, and internal transfers
  • Maintain and update compensation structures, salary bands, and job architecture
  • Support compensation-related audits and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, pay equity)
  • Prepare compensation reports and dashboards for HR and business leaders, leveraging Excel and HRIS tools
  • Contribute to compensation-related projects, including policy development, process improvement, and system implementations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 4–6 years of experience in compensation analysis or total rewards
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling)
  • Experience with compensation survey tools (e.g., Payfactors and Willis Towers Watson) and job evaluation methodologies
  • Working knowledge of federal and state labor laws and compensation compliance
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG [Ultimate Kronos Group],Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-HR stakeholders

  • CCP certification (Certified Compensation Professional)
