THE COMPENSATION SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in compensation management, preferably in a dealership or retail environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and follow tasks through to completion
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods and regularly use a computer and phone
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Experience using iSolved HCM or payroll platform - preferred
  • Experience in payroll/wage and hour law compliance - preferred

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Our Compensation Specialist helps ensure that our payroll is processed on time, employees are paid properly, and that our compensation packages remain competitive in the industry. You'll work closely with business leaders and executive management to develop, implement, and maintain compliant new pay structures. This includes:

  • Designing incentive and commission programs for sales, service, and parts departments and aligning plans with KPIs and business goals
  • Accurately calculating commission payouts, validating performance data, gaining the manager's approval, and processing payouts on time
  • Tracking incentive program effectiveness and making adjustments as needed
  • Performing market analysis, creating salary structures for all business positions, and aligning plans with market data and internal equity
  • Updating compensation procedures and documents as needed
  • Ensuring all financial activities comply with federal and local regulations
  • Maintaining financial records and assisting with payroll/compensation audits
  • Preparing financial reports for leadership, supporting annual budget planning, and making strategic recommendations to HR
  • Promptly processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee financial information
  • Answering payroll-related questions and resolving issues
  • Assisting with other duties as needed
