Description

Position Summary: 

Detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Specialist to support the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation programs. This role will play a key part in maintaining competitive and equitable pay practices by participating in salary surveys, analyzing market data, and ensuring our compensation systems are accurate and up to date. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in and manage compensation and salary surveys to gather market data and benchmark roles. 
  • Analyze survey results and market trends to support compensation recommendations and structure updates. 
  • Maintain and update compensation systems, including job codes, salary structures, and pay grades. 
  • Assist in the administration of annual compensation processes such as merit increases, bonuses, and equity reviews. 
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers. 
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS and compensation systems. 
  • Support compliance with compensation-related regulations and internal policies. 
  • Prepare compensation reports and dashboards for HR and business leaders. 
  • Contribute to compensation-related projects such as pay equity analysis, system upgrades, and policy development. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field. 
  • In leu of completed degree 4-8 years of equivalent experience required. 
  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Willis Towers Watson). 
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation systems (e.g., Oracle). 
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze and interpret data. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or progress toward certification. 
  • Experience supporting compensation processes in a mid-to-large organization. 
  • Knowledge of FLSA and other relevant compensation regulations. 
  • Hospital/Healthcare HR Total Rewards experience is desirable.
