As a senior member of the global team, the Director will lead at least one major global initiative, driving innovation and alignment across regions. They will monitor the effectiveness of current reward programs, conduct competitive market analyses, and recommend data-driven improvements that reflect evolving business priorities and market trends. Managing relationships with external vendors and consultants will also be a key component of the role, ensuring the highest standards of service and strategic partnership.
In addition, the Director will play a critical role in supporting regulatory compliance initiatives, including contributing to the organization’s response to the EU Pay Transparency Directive and other relevant legislative requirements across the regions. They will collaborate closely with the Technology and Insights teams to ensure data accuracy, process optimisation, and the seamless integration of systems supporting compensation and rewards programs. Leading and developing a team of professionals in a fast-paced, international environment, the Director will foster excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will hold a university degree in a relevant field and possess 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in a multinational environment. They must demonstrate a strong understanding of Total Rewards programs, with particular expertise in job architecture, position evaluation, and the design of appropriate compensation structures. Experience managing or implementing compensation programs across multiple countries in Central Europe is required, while exposure to markets in the Middle East, India, and Africa will be considered an asset.
Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in an additional European language is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be capable of working autonomously within a global matrix organization and possess exceptional communication, analytical, and priority management skills. A strong business orientation and the ability to manage global initiatives, conduct complex analyses, and build persuasive business cases for senior leadership are also essential to success in this role.
