Compensation Analyst

Are you a compensation professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment? Copeland is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support the execution and analysis of compensation programs that help attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Reporting to the Manager of Global Compensation, you will contribute to global compensation initiatives and provide analytical support that drives decision-making and process optimization.

As a Compensation Analyst, YOU WILL:

  • Assist in the administration of base pay, short- and long-term incentive programs, and job evaluations.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and support participation in market surveys (e.g., Mercer, Radford, WTW).
  • Perform internal equity reviews and market pricing to support compensation recommendations.
  • Support the development of compensation tools, reports, and dashboards to provide insights to HR and business partners.
  • Contribute to compensation-related communications, training materials, and program documentation.
  • Help track and monitor compensation program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to evaluate new roles, promotions, and job changes for compensation alignment.
  • Assist in preparing materials for leadership meetings and compensation reviews.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and compensation best practices through research and peer analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with compensation policies and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related field.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with compensation data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship not available).

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience with compensation survey tools such as Mercer, Radford, or WTW.
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM or other HRIS platforms.
  • Exposure to global compensation practices or job architecture frameworks.
  • CCP certification or coursework is a plus.

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office in St. Louis, MO or Sidney, OH at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs.
