DescriptionThe role of (Global) Total Rewards Manager will be reporting to the Global Director of Total Rewards for Vision Care division. The main responsibility of this position will be to conduct rewards data analysis, market benchmaking, salary planning process, and lead the Annual Compensation cycle (ie. salary review process, STI process, LTI nomination and administration processes), it’s process improvement and automation.
The role to be successful, will involve close partnering and interface with various internal stakeholders such as, but not limited to, country, regional and global HR and finance network, business managers -- -- ensuring that guidelines are understood, processes are followed, and proper governance is observed in the execution. In this capacity, you will also be a core member or play a significant role in the HR projects on change management, organizational planning, company culture and values, HRIS implementation, organizational capability and competency development, standardization and harmonization of HR policies and practices, HR reporting and other topics as assigned from time to time.
ResponsibilitiesMajor Responsibilities
The following is a detailed, but not exhaustive, listing of the hands-on tasks you will undertake in the role with the Global Director -Total Rewards, in alignment to the team strategic goals and short-term objectives :
General Rewards
- Responsible for end-to-end process of compensation (and benefits) programs, processes (Salary Increase, STI, LTI) and HR-related projects across HVC Division countries worldwide
- Develop, review, update, and communicate standard operating process guidelines for key rewards processes and processes annually according to rewards principles.
- Initiate the development and review of compensation policies and programs
- Lead or co-lead in the roll out of Division and Corporate wide compensation programs
- Ensure rewards governance and compliance in implementing rewards programs, policy formulation, and rewards processes.
- Actively support the HR community worldwide on rewards programs, processes and requests including support in addressing local rewards programs issues to align it to global rewards principles.
- Collaborates with other HR functions within the Division and Corporate Rewards team on global and standard rewards processes.
- Exchange with external networking groups and rewards consultants to keep abreast of latest compensation practices and trends.
Market Survey and Analysis
- Conduct salary and benefit surveys where needed; preparation of survey inputs and job comparability and relevance of matches
- Implementation, analysis and interpretation of compensation surveys
- Research, analysis and assessment of pay programs and development of recommendations for changes and improvements
- Conduct market analysis and develop/update of pay structures (once in place)
Job Pricing and Benchmarking
- Responsible to conduct market benchmarking and job pricing for HVC Division.
- Ensure that the role description, organization chart and details (financial accountability, etc) required for proper job pricing and benchmarking are reviewed and available from hiring managers and/or HRDs.
- Evaluate and classify positions using market data and internal comparisons to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
Projects
- Co-lead in the development and implementation of a job architecture framework to all HVC markets worldwide, and its maintenance thereafter.
- Lead the HRIS projects process improvement/s to include : Iris (Oracle) compensation module and Docusign integration, and PSO nomination automated process.
- Play an important role in the incentives program/s development and maintenance for operations, sales, and with other functions.
- Active participation in the implementation of ad hoc projects e.g rewards (C&B) process improvements, and reporting requirements (rewards analytics, dashboards, etc).
- Process improvement, streamlining and automation of assigned rewards programs and processes.
Reports and Communication
- Prepare various rewards and HR reports, analytics and presentations as required from time to time
- Develop communication materials, education and training related to rewards

QualificationsQualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of combined work experience in rewards role from in-house and/or rewards consulting companies handling at least regional role and/or strategic rewards function in different facets, worldwide.
- Strong knowledge and experience on Rewards subjects, tools, techniques, programs and applications
- Strong business-orientation and savviness
- Above average MS Office skills (including Power BI) and analytical tools
- Very good English language skills (spoken and written). Other language skills will be an advantage
