Head of Total Rewards

About Satispay

Satispay stands as a recognised leader in the European FinTech landscape, a company where a relentless drive for achievement is powered by a clear, impactful mission. We were born from a powerful vision to revolutionise everyday payments, making them simple, fair, and accessible to everyone. Our strategic imperative is to continue shaping the future of money by simplifying complex financial interactions to profoundly improve people's lives.

As a high-growth scale-up, Satispay represents a dynamic environment at the forefront. Joining our team means stepping into a critical role with the authority and responsibility to drive significant business outcomes and shape the strategic trajectory of the company and the industry.

We are powered by a culture of ownership, relentless execution, and strategic foresight. We are brave in our approach, making courageous decisions and tackling challenges head-on, underpinned by a deep sense of responsibility for sustainable, ethical, and long-term success.

What you’ll be doing

As the Head of Total Rewards, you will hold a leadership role within Satispay's HR ecosystem. You'll be the strategic benchmark for everything related to remuneration, but also a hands-on project manager responsible for building and implementing processes. You will work closely with HR Business Partners and company leaders to ensure our policies are fair, competitive, and aligned with our rapidly evolving business.

This is an opportunity to lead within a high-growth, constantly evolving environment – a challenge perfectly suited for an executive ready to navigate and shape change at scale and contribute to something bigger.

In this role, embodying ownership and a commitment to craving impact, you will be expected to deliver significant results by:

  • Defining Compensation Strategies. Leading the A-Z design and execution of our compensation strategies, including incentive plans and their constant evolution in an environment of continuously changing teams and products.

  • Being the Go-To Expert for Equity. Having direct responsibility for our stock option plans. We expect you to be the subject-matter expert, capable of managing all related requests and ensuring correct administration.

  • Building and Managing Data Analytics for the HR Team. Leading the emerging HR Analytics area, transforming data into clear insights to support management decisions.

  • Lead End-to-End Projects. Managing complex projects (from launching a new benefit to updating MBO plans), ensuring timelines are met, and managing cross-functional coordination.

  • Manage and Develop the Team. Leading the Comp&Ben team, managing and developing your people and promoting a delivery-oriented culture.

You will lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ownership.

Who we're looking for

We are seeking a proven leader with a distinguished track record of success in driving strategic initiatives and achieving significant business growth within relevant sectors.

You will lead by example, combining ambition with purpose, drive impactful results, and cultivate ownership and continuous improvement in our dynamic environment.

  • Strategic Compensation Design. You have a proven track record in designing, building, and implementing compensation strategy at a company level, specifically for fast-paced and rapidly scaling environments.

  • Stakeholder & C-Level Partnership. You know how to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels (from founders to the C-level), acting as a true partner and guiding the compensation & benefits policy strategy for the entire company.

  • Hands-on & Analytical Approach. You are an Excel wizard and aren't afraid to build complex models from scratch. For you, "strategy" also means "flawless execution" and detailed analysis.

  • E2E Project Management. You are an extremely organized person, capable of managing complex projects autonomously, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and orchestrating cross-team collaboration.

  • Expertise in Equity & Incentives. You have deep, direct knowledge of stock option plans and the design of modern, scalable, and flexible incentive plans (MBOs).

  • People Management. You have experience managing a team of highly technical and specialized professionals. You know when to delegate and when to step in directly, and how to motivate both your direct reports and colleagues on cross-functional projects.

  • Language Skills. You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Italian.

We recognize that exceptional leadership comes in many forms. If you believe you have the vision, experience, and drive to help us shape the future of money, we encourage you to apply. We value the unique perspectives and strengths that exceptional leaders bring, even if their experience doesn't align with every listed requirement.
