Job Summary
CDW is seeking a commercially astute and data-driven Head of Compensation to lead the continued development and execution of our global Total Reward strategy. This pivotal role will ensure our compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives, particularly in high-performance sales environments.
What you will do
- Own and deliver the global Total Reward strategy, encompassing extrinsic elements base pay, variable pay, equity, and benefits; as well as intrinsic elements such as career path development, recognition and engagement.
- Design and manage sales compensation plans that drive performance and align with commercial goals.
- Leverage data to inform compensation decisions and support broader HR analytics initiatives.
- Lead compensation operations using advanced HR systems, with significant experience in Workday required.
- Drive and support change initiatives across the HR function, contributing to transformation projects that improve processes and outcomes.
- Lead a small team, including a UK & International Benefits Specialist, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Sales leadership.
- Work in partnership with US based COEs and align the needs of UK & International with the Global strategy.
- Ensure all compensation practices comply with local regulations and internal governance standards.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness and support talent acquisition and retention.
- Develop and manage the annual Total Reward budget and forecasts.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology providers and negotiate contracts for all Total Reward services.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects involving workforce analytics, organizational design, and strategic planning.
What we expect of you
- Proven experience in a senior compensation role, ideally within a global, sales-driven organization.
- Strong understanding of sales compensation structures and incentive design.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and influence stakeholders.
- Significant experience with Workday and other HR systems.
- Strong background in change management and transformation within HR or broader business functions.
- Experience managing international benefits programs and working across multiple geographies.
- Exceptional commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
