The International Compensation Business Partner, for Europe, and the Growth & Emerging Markets of Middle East and North Africa, Commonwealth of Independent States and Japan, Asia-Pacific will analyze, design, and manage competitive compensation programs to attract and retain top talent across the region. Based in Ireland, this role will ensure alignment with local market practices, regulatory requirements, and global business objectives. The analyst will provide insights, conduct market research, and collaborate with HR and business leaders to support organizational goals.

Job Description:

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to benchmark compensation structures across Europe, and the Growth & Emerging Markets of Japan, MENA, CIS & APAC ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Job Evaluation: Lead job evaluations to determine appropriate pay grades, ensuring internal equity and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Data Analytics: Analyze compensation data to provide insights on pay trends, cost impacts, and program effectiveness, presenting actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports on compensation metrics, including pay equity, bonus payouts, and budget forecasting, for senior leadership.
  • Compensation Program Design: Develop and maintain salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs tailored to regional markets while aligning with global standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compensation practices comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and industry standards in Europe, and the Growth & Emerging Markets of Japan, MENA, CIS & APAC jurisdictions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to support compensation strategies for recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert, advising regional leaders on compensation-related matters and providing training to HR teams.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline compensation processes, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compensation analysis, with at least 3 years in multi country focus across Europe and/or Asia Pacific and Middle East markets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in compensation tools, Workday, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of compensation practices, including base pay, incentives, equity, and benefits, across the regions. Familiarity with local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to cultural nuances and diverse business practices across the regions.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional language(s) is advantageous
  • Travel: Up to 10% travel expected
  • Work Environment: Collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to work cross-functionally across global teams.
