Job Description

We are seeking a Provider Compensation Analyst to drive analytics initiatives supporting provider compensation programs. This role leverages provider productivity data (measured via work RVUs), incentive, and value-based care (VBC) data to deliver insights that shape compensation strategy and optimize provider performance across the organization. This is an opportunity to shape provider compensation strategy and impact organizational outcomes as well as collaborate across analytics, finance, and clinical teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, refinement, and maintenance of complex provider compensation models and dashboards.

  • Analyze provider productivity (wRVUs), incentives, and VBC outcomes to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in provider performance and compensation.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to inform compensation strategy and VBC program effectiveness.

  • Partner with finance, HR, and market operations teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Drive standardization, documentation, and reproducibility of methodologies across the analytics team.

  • Support special projects, including modeling for new incentive programs or compensation structures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus.

  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, provider compensation, or related roles.

  • Strong experience analyzing work RVUs, value-based care (VBC), and productivity metric.

  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business communication skills.

  • Experience presenting complex findings to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is $100,000-125,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs).This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
