The Provider Relations and Compensation Specialist serves as a critical bridge between the organization and its healthcare providers. This role focuses on optimizing reporting workflows, managing provider compensation integrity, and ensuring high levels of provider satisfaction through timely resolution of inquiries. You will leverage data tools like Power BI to transition manual processes into self-service reporting environments while auditing contractual agreements to ensure compensation accuracy. Additionally, you will serve as an escalation point to triage any provider concerns with the appropriate stakeholders internally across RCM, operations, finance, and accounting.

Guide the calculation of monthly provider compensation based on collections and provider-specific agreements.
Serve as a primary driver for identifying and escalating compensation deficiency areas, including disparities affecting the provider or the organization.
Participate in the rollout of Power BI dashboards, enabling stakeholders to self-serve their data needs and reducing reliance on manual reporting.
Continuously evaluate routine reporting requests to eliminate duplication and consolidate reports for better efficiency.
Act as the primary liaison for assigned providers, fostering positive professional interactions and maintaining high feedback scores from both providers and leadership.
Ensure all provider questions or concerns are resolved or escalated within a three-business-day window.
For complex or escalated issues, serve as the central point of contact, coordinating data collection and follow-up discussions until a final resolution is reached, requiring partnership across RCM, Finance, Operations, and Accounting.
Previous experience in Revenue Cycle Management, healthcare compensation, or provider relations is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI, and the ability to interpret complex reporting requests.
Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose data-driven consolidations.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on conflict resolution and maintaining provider relationships.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to audit contracts against verbal directives to ensure organizational compliance.

The annual compensation for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 plus a discretionary bonus.
