Job Summary

Start your career in financial services with a dynamic role that blends customer support, data management, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Sales Compensation Representative, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Individual Life & Financial Services division (ILFS) by helping ensure producers are paid accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn and Grow: Gain hands-on experience in calculating and processing broker commissions. Develop a strong understanding of compensation plans and financial operations.
  • Support Producers: Provide friendly and professional service via phone, email, and in-person. Help agents and brokers understand their compensation statements and resolve issues.
  • Work with Data & Systems: Update and maintain producer information in internal systems. Ensure accuracy in financial records and compensation data.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a connector between producers, licensing, IT, and other departments. Participate in projects, audits, and testing related to commissions and data quality.
  • Manage Communications: Track interactions using workflow tools like SharePoint or AWD. Communicate updates and changes clearly and proactively.

What You’ll Bring

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience in customer service, call centers, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new systems.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Foreign language skills are a bonus but not required.
  • High School Diploma, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

 

 

Salary Band: 02B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
