JOB SUMMARY:

Provides analytical support to the administration and execution of Midmark’s Compensation programs. Assist with the design of compensation programs that attract, retain, engage, and motivate teammates. Successful Compensation Analysts are strong guardians of company values and principles. This position  is expected to be on-site in the Versailles, Ohio location 4 days a week.  This in not a remote position.

ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Assist with job descriptions and setting salary ranges as needed for new roles. Work with appropriate internal team to ensure that the HRIS is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc.
  • Responsible for setting market data and matching with internal jobs.
  • Analyze internal pay equity issues and work with HR Business Partners to develop plans.
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating existing pay programs, developing new pay programs and on-going administration of the company’s variable pay programs.
  • Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer Work Force Compensation module in HCM to assist in the annual equity budgeting and merit increase distribution processes.
  • Assist with making recommendations in preparation of merit increase and incentive programs.
  • Assist with labor costs, salary analysis and structure by using metrics and models to understand current salary trends and predict future trends.
  • Assist and make recommendations in preparation of merit increase and incentive programs.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Design and prepare ad hoc compensation related reports for management.
  • Participate on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, implementation of new programs

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field. 5+ years’ experience in compensation required. Must have working knowledge of basic regulatory frameworks, including general regulatory and internal control requirements. Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field and Human Resource discipline.

CCP/CEBS/CBP certification preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; good presentation skills.
  • Experience with Executive Compensation programs beneficial.  
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access as well as HRIS systems (Oracle preferred), including spreadsheet and database applications.
