The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for the annual compensation process design, implementation, and governance for the base salary and incentive plans. This person will lead the annual compensation process and manage the compensation systems used, such as Workday Compensation, Towers Watson GGS, IBM CompAnalyst. Directs day to day operations of thirdparty
administration of stock program and leads and completes complex financial analysis for equity programs and executive compensation.
What You’ll Do:
Create time-sensitive and high-profile materials for board meetings, manage the data for inclusion in the proxy, and run thorough audits to ensure accuracy. Complete analysis for equity program, deferred comp, and various executive reward components.
Lead systems requirements with HRIS for all Compensation Systems and work with external vendors to ensure system is used to fullest potential. Continue to re-engineer the various Compensation processes to incorporate new or enhanced systems, operational excellence and other process improvements
Lead the administration of the annual compensation programs, including salary budget planning and salary structure analysis and recommendation, as well as the base salary, incentive and equity recommendation processes globally. Prepares, tests and trainsinternal customers (Compensation, HR and PLs) on systems and tools used throughout the process. Coordinate merit increase and payout communications for managers. Responsible for compliance of the compensation programs, including SOX and other disparate impact analyses.
Primary contact with external salary survey providers. Leads efforts with vendors, coordinates data access and reports and performs salary survey submission using CompAnalyst functionality. Responsible for the market data database, ensuring timely updates of data, report writing, identifying new sources and general market pricing expertise. Provide guidance and recommendations to consultants on survey sources, methodology, and matches. Provide market analysis and recommendations for senior executives globally.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree required. Major in Finance, Business or Human Resources preferred
5+ years of experience working within HR and/or compensation
Knowledge of compensation principles of base and variable pay programs
Experience working with job evaluation, salary surveys, and market pricing
Experience designing and implementing processes
Experience with executive and international compensation
CCP or coursework toward certification preferred
Candidate must be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment and have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook and Project)
Strong Excel skills required
Strong Access skills preferred.
Experience with Workday preferred
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills, including excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Strong interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills
Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
