Description

Act as part of a team to provide specialist expertise on all compensation related analysis and processes. This position supports the compensation team in conducting market analysis to research trends and compensation initiatives across different industries that guide HR Business Partners to make informed strategic and compensation decisions.


Your day to day

  • Conduct job evaluations to determine the band and appropriate external market pricing.

  • Ensure consistency with established philosophy and strategy; and ensure decisions are executed/processed in a timely manner

  • Conduct and/or participate in compensation surveys; analyze results; and provide recommendations regarding policy/program revisions to management.

  • Perform specialty compensation processes such as maintaining, reconciling, analyzing, and preparing reports as required.

  • Facilitate continuous improvement efforts with the work team for compensation processes.

  • Investigate, analyze and resolve significant changes in compensation processes. Provide input to decisions for future system enhancements and process improvements.

  • Provide support in the annual compensation budget preparations and in the year-end compensation cycle.
What we need from you
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

  • Minimum two years of progressive compensation experience with demonstrated understanding of multiple disciplines/processes that includes compensation analysis.

  • Must have strong technical skills including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and use of HRIS.

  • Demonstrated project management and process improvement experience in organizing and planning compensation projects.

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of compensation principles and practices.

  • Effective interpersonal/consensus building skills for the purpose of providing information to client groups

  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable relevant regulations affecting compensation policies and programs.

 Location - this role can be based in any major metropolitan city in the United States.
 
The salary range for this role is $45,426.00 to $83,125.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plan and other benefits to employees.
