Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Compensation Specialist to join our growing team and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of our incentive programs worldwide.
This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from our Cambridge or London office.
What will I be doing?
In this senior role, you’ll be responsible for executing and optimizing global sales commission processes, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include:
Administering and processing global sales commissions and incentives in line with compensation plans and compliance standards.
Collaborating with Revenue Operations, Finance, HR, and Payroll to ensure accurate data flows across CRM, ERP, HCM, and compensation platforms.
Validating performance data, quota attainment, and managing exceptions to ensure accurate monthly payouts.
Maintaining detailed documentation to support internal controls and international compliance (SOX, GDPR).
Acting as a key contact for global stakeholders, resolving compensation queries and disputes.
Delivering commission statements and analytics to sales teams, leadership, and the board.
Leading process improvements and system enhancements, including automation and standardization.
Supporting cross-regional projects such as system integrations, policy rollouts, and audit readiness.
What experience do I need?
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in sales compensation. You’ll be comfortable navigating complex commission structures, collaborating across teams, and driving accuracy in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Key experience includes:
Background in Sales Compensation, Finance, or Payroll
Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Experience with Salesforce, Xactly, or similar tools
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and work independently
Confidence in communicating with internal stakeholders
A university degree is preferred, but we value hands-on experience and initiative just as highly.
