Total Rewards Analyst is responsible for supporting ERCOT's total rewards programs, such as benefits, compensation and recognition programs. The primary role is to provide data management within the HRIS, reporting compensation and benefits data analyses, employee support for questions and enrollment.  Key skills include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential data with discretion are critical. Ensure accuracy of employee benefits and compensation data within the HRIS.

JOB DUTIES

  • Collect, audit, and analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and provide insights.
  • Prepare data models, reports and dashboards for management.
  • Assist with job description maintenance and mapping to compensation surveys
  • Assist with market data analysis and benefit survey submission
  • Assist with building and maintaining SharePoint sites to provide employees with access to current benefit and compensation information
  • Support the ongoing design and delivery of Total Rewards programs by contributing ideas, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and promoting operational excellence
  • Create content for company intranet related to benefit offerings, wellness campaigns and other total rewards information

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES

  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefit enrollment and changes
  • Review and resolve benefit elections and changes
  • Assist with annual non-discrimination testing, annual enrollment election audits/analysis
  • Notify Payroll of employees on leave
  • Review and approve spot (bonus) awards in alignment with established guidelines
  • Review and approve employee tuition reimbursement payments for Payroll processing
  • Review job and compensation changes to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain job description repository and job profiles in HRIS
  • Assist with employee meetings and communications for Benefits and Compensation training
  • Reconcile monthly insurance carrier and vendor billing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Requires minimum 2 years of job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements

Salary and level will be based on overall experience as determined by ERCOT. There is one position available.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in Excel and Workday
  • Knowledge in Compensation and Total Rewards Programs
  • Knowledge in Employee Benefits Programs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in payroll administration

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree: Business, Human Resources or related field (Required)
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required

CERTIFICATION

  • PHR Professional in Human Resources (Preferred)
  • SHRM-CP (Preferred)

WORK LOCATION – Taylor, TX:

  • Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at a minimum of 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management
  • On-site schedules are flexible or may be rotated based on business needs as determined by the Manager
  • Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence.  
  • Employees may opt to work on-site more than required or 100% of the time
