Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Sales Compensation plays a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing sales incentive programs that align with business strategy and adapt to a dynamic business environment. This role serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing actionable insights through performance monitoring, reporting, and data analysis. The Senior Analyst is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of commission calculations, driving process improvements, and supporting the organization through clear communication and training on incentive programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and enhance sales incentive plans that align with business goals and evolving market conditions.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders by:
- Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to monitor incentive plan performance.
- Analyzing data to optimize compensation programs and drive business outcomes.
- Providing ongoing training and support to ensure understanding and adoption of incentive plans.
- Communicating program changes and updates clearly and transparently to all stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly accruals and process monthly commissions, sales incentives, and quarterly bonuses in coordination with accounting teams.
- Perform system reconciliations and validate reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data prior to commission calculations.
- Review data entries and calculations with a high level of attention to detail to identify discrepancies and process necessary revisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and present recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and maintain efficient commission processes.
Key Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Access.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large datasets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience
Certifications
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (Preferred)
Additional Experience
- Proven experience in sales compensation and commissions.
- Experience with commission system software.
- Familiarity with systems implementation is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$61,500 - $73,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
