The Compensation Analyst will report to the Compensation Manager helping to support, analyze and administer compensation programs and total rewards practices. While providing compensation guidance and support to The Heritage Group (THG) family of businesses. Specifically, for THG Corporate, this role will assist in the annual compensation review and short-term incentive programs. For all other THG businesses, this role will partner and collaborate with the HR community across THG to provide compensation analysis, support and advise on compensation practices, design, and trends, along with participation in salary, and other compensation related surveys.

Essential Functions
  • Participates in salary surveys, analyzes market data and trends to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Day to day compensation market analysis support for THG businesses
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation guidelines
  • Provide guidance on new hire offer packages, promotions and off-cycle increases
  • Maintain progressive knowledge of compensation total rewards best practices and participate in industry groups and events
  • Support a variety of cross-business compensation initiatives and modeling projects as needed
  • Develop and track total rewards/comp metrics for THG in partnership with the HR community to measure the ROI of our rewards programs
  • Work with the Compensation Manager on a variety of projects including salary and bonus program design, analysis, budgeting and implementation of new programs
  • Models potential pay structures and conduct financial impact analyses of alternative designs
  • Analyzes and evaluates total rewards data and program trends
  • Assist in developing total rewards training materials and communications and help to drive cohesion in total rewards messaging
  • Support a variety of total rewards related projects as needed
  • Maintain compensation programs for THG Corporate, including base salary and short-term incentives
  • Assist with administration the year-end comp process for THG Corporate and THG Businesses
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of compensation data, tables, and overall set-up in HRIS system(s). Work with HR Shared Services to maximize system capabilities to administer all compensation programs effectively and efficiently
  • Lead the requirement gathering for the compensation system process from a talent/rewards side. Provide project management expertise and support as needed for the other THG businesses that transition from a manual to systems-based compensation process.

Education Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience

Experience Qualifications
  • Preferred 3+ years Experience in analysis, and/or administration of compensation programs
  • Preferred Experience leading an annual compensation a plus
  • Preferred Strong Excel/data skills
  • Preferred Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Preferred Ability to analyze issues and suggest solutions through modeling; collect, organize, and analyze data for various projects.
  • Preferred Experience working in Workday
