Description

The Compensation Analyst supports the design, administration, and compliance of compensation programs across the organization. This role is responsible for managing variable pay plans, evaluating job changes and leveling requests, and ensuring consistent, equitable, and compliant application of compensation practices. The Compensation Analyst partners closely with HR and business leaders to provide data-driven insights and ensure compensation programs align with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain variable pay and incentive plans, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payouts.
  • Review and process day-to-day compensation actions, including pay rate changes, promotions, and job reclassifications.
  • Evaluate job descriptions and leveling requests to ensure internal equity and alignment with organizational frameworks.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and market pricing analysis to support pay structure recommendations.
  • Partner with HR business partners and leaders to ensure pay decisions are fair, consistent, and compliant with wage and hour laws.
  • Maintain compensation data integrity in HRIS systems and generate reports and dashboards to support      decision-making.
  • Assist in annual compensation cycle processes, including merit increases, market adjustments, and incentive plan reviews.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local pay regulations, including pay transparency and equal pay requirements.
  • Provide compensation-related analytics and insights to senior HR leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation, and pay compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; HRIS and compensation system experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail orientation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to partner effectively with HR and business leaders.
