We’re seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our People Team and play a critical role in shaping fair, competitive, and compliant pay practices across the organization. In this position, you’ll analyze compensation data, maintain salary structures, and ensure our programs align with both business goals and employee equity. You’ll partner closely with People Business Partners and provide strategic insights that drive informed decisions.
This role is HR-focused: It centers on compensation strategy and analysis, not IT or technical responsibilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Benchmark compensation for new and existing roles to maintain internal and external equity.
Design and maintain salary structures and job leveling frameworks.
Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and incentive programs.
Prepare compensation recommendations for promotions, transfers, and new hires aligned with company policies.
Ensure job descriptions are accurate and consistent across the organization.
Analyze trends, turnover, and budget impacts; deliver actionable reports for leadership.
Monitor compensation metrics and advise on strategies to maintain competitiveness and equity.
Collaborate with HRIS, Finance, and Payroll to ensure seamless implementation of compensation changes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including FLSA and pay transparency requirements.
Maintain documentation and auditing processes to support compliance and internal standards.
Create clear communication materials to help employees understand compensation programs.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
HR certification (CCP, PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
Experience:
3–5 years in compensation analysis or a related HR function.
Skills & Expertise:
Advanced data analysis and reporting skills; ability to create and interpret dashboards and metrics.
Market pricing expertise using tools like PayScale or Salary.com.
Strong understanding of job evaluation and leveling methodologies.
Knowledge of pay transparency laws and wage/hour regulations.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
High attention to confidentiality and a process improvement mindset.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.
Please note that the range listed represents the full base salary range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
