Position Summary:

WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation programs. You will analyze salary data, conduct job evaluations, ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, and provide valuable insights to support our talent acquisition and retention strategies. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Program Design and Administration:

Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, procedures, and programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives (as applicable).

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation.

Maintain and update compensation-related documentation, including job descriptions, salary scales, and program guidelines.

Job Evaluation and Analysis:

Conduct thorough job evaluations using established methodologies to determine appropriate job levels and salary grades.

Analyze job content and responsibilities to ensure accurate job descriptions that reflect current duties and requirements.

Maintain a consistent and equitable job architecture across the organization.

Market Analysis and Benchmarking:

Participate in and analyze compensation surveys to gather market data on salary trends, pay practices, and benefits.

Conduct competitive market analysis to ensure our compensation programs are aligned with industry standards and support our ability to attract and retain top talent.

Prepare reports and presentations summarizing market data findings and recommendations for adjustments to our compensation structures.

Salary Administration and Budgeting:

Administer the annual salary review process, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.

Develop and maintain salary ranges and guidelines for different job families and levels.

Assist in the development and monitoring of the compensation budget.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.

Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on compensation metrics, such as salary ranges, pay equity, and compensation costs.

Develop and maintain compensation-related databases and systems.

Collaboration and Communication:

Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to provide compensation guidance and support.

Communicate compensation policies and procedures effectively to employees and managers.

Provide training and education to managers on compensation-related topics.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, including FLSA and Equal Pay Act.

Participate in internal and external audits related to compensation practices.

Stay updated on changes in compensation laws and regulations.

Special Projects:

Participate in various HR projects related to compensation, such as the implementation of new compensation software or the redesign of existing programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis and administration.

Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.

Proven experience in job evaluation methodologies, market analysis, and salary administration.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced skills in data manipulation, formulas, and reporting).

Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and compensation management software is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Must possess a valid United States work permit or be a United States citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.

Experience in the healthcare industry.

Work Environment:

This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.

Occasional virtual meetings and collaboration with team members across different time zones may be required.
