Job Description:
Senior level non-supervisory position or team leader responsible for independently providing high level analytical support to the design and development of complex compensation products that support the strategy for assigned businesses, executives or International clients. Requires deep subject matter expertise. Will directly consult with business managers in the development of these products. Provides coaching to less experienced analysts.
The Compensation Consultant II will engage with Country HR Generalists as well as regional and global compensation colleagues in support of LATAM and Canada. The Compensation Consultant II will also work closely with the International & Regional Compensation Executives to support integration across all regions.. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing expertise and support on compensation matters across business lines and countries in LatAm and Canada.
Advising HR colleagues on compensation practices across the employee lifecycle to support compensation decisions, including to execute the annual year-end compensation process and mid-year analyst process.
Support the International Compensation Executive with integration efforts across all regions/countries
Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to analyze, review and approve competitive compensation offers for new hires and with HRGs on off-cycle compensation reviews
Drive or participate in cross-team improvement initiatives, or strategic projects and regulatory requests for the region, as needed
Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on Compensation matters to Human Resources and Business Leaders
Compile, create and summarize/analyze data clearly and concisely to help drive fact-based decision making
Support and advise on compensation related activities including but not limited to new hire offers, promotions, talent retention and year-end forecasting
Participate in compensation survey process; conduct analysis on internal and external bench marking to support compensation related business decisions and strategy
Serve as a point of integration between the regions and countries
Required Qualifications:
Have 3+ years of Compensation compensation Experience experience or successful performance in a Human Resources or international support role with strong analytical focus
Must have experience working directly with leaders, advising and consulting with them on HR, Compensation, or related issues
Demonstrate the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maturity
Data/quantitative analysis experience
Strong MS Excel skills (familiar with complex pivot tables, data filtering, lookups)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of recipients
Collaborative partner who is able to develop relationships with global colleagues
Ability to understand and apply complex technical requirements to practice situations
Be a demonstrated self-starter and a results-oriented professional who can develop and manage relationships across multiple groups
Be a team player and display a strong work ethic
