First Eagle is seeking an experienced Compensation professional with a background in financial services or compensation consulting, with experience designing and supporting investment management compensation programs. The successful candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving and advisory skills. In addition, they will enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic culture that includes a collaborative work style. The work is both strategic and hands-on and includes both special projects and ongoing responsibilities.
What you will do:
- Partner with US Wealth Solutions leadership and CEO to design sales incentive compensation programs and policies
- Calculate monthly commissions and projects sales commissions reflecting different assumptions
- Complete ad-hoc reports and analyze data for US Wealth Solutions leadership relating to sales incentive compensation programs
- Provide monthly reporting to multiple stakeholders including Finance and Human Resources leadership
- Participate in compensation surveys and perform competitive market analysis
- Assist with compensation requests and reports related to the Alternative Credit compensation program
- Develop and improve all compensation-related business processes, requests and reports, with a strong focus on operational efficiency
- Maintain deferred compensation portal, including grants, forfeiture, distribution, etc.
- Play a key role in the year-end compensation processes, from budget and accrual to bonus and salary proposal, to communication and payroll coordination
- Partner with HR colleagues to determine offer packages, off-boarding agreements, and exemption review evaluations
- Monitor changes in federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance
- Assist in HRIS initiatives
The qualities you should have:
- Undergraduate Degree required
- 10+ years of experience in the analysis, design and administration of compensation programs
- Experience in asset management industry
- Experience with sales incentive plan design and/or administration preferred
- Experience working with alternative credit compensation plans preferred
- Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends; superior analytical skills
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast pace, quickly growing environment
- Strong communications skills, including both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Resourcefulness and ability to work both independently and with a team
- Sound judgment – knows when to escalate issues
- Ability to summarize insights and make recommendations
- Ability to manage diverse work streams and multiple, competing deadlines
- Maintain discretion when dealing with sensitive information, records, and reports
- Positive disposition, can-do attitude and a strong sense of personal accountability
Base Salary range: $175,000 to $200,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
