What You’ll Be Doing

As our Compensation Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the programs that fuel Nextech’s ability to attract, reward, and retain top talent. This is more than a numbers role—it’s a chance to influence strategy, partner with leadership, and make a tangible impact on our nationwide workforce. Your work will ensure fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with our company’s rapid growth.

  • Lead the design, rollout, and administration of incentive plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance metrics

  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and salary analyses to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness

  • Drive the annual merit, bonus, and salary structure review process with precision and impact

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to advise on promotions, job offers, and pay decisions that balance fairness with business needs

  • Build and maintain salary structures, pay guidelines, and compensation frameworks that scale with growth

  • Deliver insights through data analytics, reporting, and dashboards to guide leadership decision-making

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation regulations and laws, including FLSA and pay transparency requirements

  • Contribute to strategic projects such as job architecture design, incentive modeling, and compensation integration during M&A activities

Min Compensation

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Max Compensation

USD $120,000.00/Yr.

What We’re Looking For

 

We’re seeking a compensation professional with vision and precision—someone who blends analytical expertise with strong business acumen and collaboration skills. This role requires a leader who can balance detail with big-picture thinking.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 3+ years of direct experience in compensation management, including incentive planning

  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, and pay structures

  • Proficiency with compensation surveys (Radford, Mercer, WTW) and HRIS systems (UKG a plus)

  • Advanced Excel skills, with comfort in analytics, modeling, and data storytelling

  • Strong communication skills to present complex data in a clear, actionable way

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment

  • CCP certification a plus

  • Experience in HVAC or service-based industries preferred
