POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists with designing, planning, implementing, and executing competitive, cost-effective and legally-compliant compensation programs, policies and practices for Valley Health System. Responsible for the processing of all employee pay changes and the execution of compensation policies and practices for the Valley Health System (VHS). Provides professional and administrative support associated with wage and salary administration in the Human Resources Department.
EDUCATION:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field and/or minimum of four (4) years of compensation experience required
EXPERIENCE:
HRIS experience required, strong database experience required. Excellent math skills, with attention to detail and accuracy required. Strong knowledge of traditional benchmark job family hierarchy and a working knowledge of FLSA, ADA, and other compensation compliance regulations required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Excellent written, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills required. Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team and customer service.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Certified Compensation Professional CCP strongly preferred
