Role
The Director of Compensation & Benefits is responsible for the design, implementation, compliance and evaluation of the Company’s compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain and motivate our diverse workforce across our corporate offices and properties globally. This role Reports to our Chief Human Resources Officer and can be based out of our London, Switzerland, or Dubai office.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a refined compensation and benefits strategy that aligns with Aman’s values and global objectives.
- Review and elevate benefits offerings for corporate teams and General Managers, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks and brand positioning.
- Oversee benefit renewals and administration, ensuring seamless experiences for new joiners and leavers across all corporate offices.
- Manage vendor partnerships to secure optimal service and value, reflecting Aman's commitment to excellence and efficiency.
- Leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous refinement of compensation programs.
- Lead the annual compensation cycle—including salary reviews, bonuses, and long-term incentives—with precision and discretion.
- Establish and maintain manning guides, salary benchmarks, and country-specific compensation frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure policies are legally compliant, strategically aligned, and operationally effective.
- Champion global compensation initiatives, including job architecture and grading frameworks that support scalability and clarity.
- Develop engaging communications to ensure colleagues understand and value their rewards, reinforcing trust and retention.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance related field.
- Extensive experience of relevant experience in compensation & benefits management, including designing and implementing competitive compensation strategies and benefits programs in an international organization.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Strong knowledge of industry benchmarking and global best practices, regulations and trends.
- Knowledge of multi-location payroll regulations, social security laws, taxes and personnel administration in the countries we operate in.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Pro-active, able to prioritize and deliver in tight deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information.
- Advanced user of Excel and proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
