Role Summary: | Ocean Network Express (ONE) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented International Mobility, Taxation, Compensation, and Payroll Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team in Richmond, USA. This critical role will be responsible for managing and administering international assignments, ensuring compliance with global tax regulations, overseeing compensation and benefits programs , and managing international payroll processes when required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international HR practices, tax laws, compensation structures, and payroll regulations, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

| Responsibilities: - International Mobility:
- Manage all aspects of international assignments, including pre-assignment planning, relocation, immigration, and repatriation processes.
- Develop and maintain international assignment policies and procedures, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international assignees, providing guidance and support throughout their assignment lifecycle.
- Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., relocation companies, immigration lawyers) to ensure smooth and efficient assignment processes.
- Track and manage assignment costs, including budgeting and expense reporting.
- International Taxation:
- Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations for assignees, including income tax, social security, and treaty provisions.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to provide tax planning and preparation services for international assignees.
- Manage the tax equalization process, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in international tax legislation and implement necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
- Compensation and Benefits for International Assignees:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs for international assignees, ensuring alignment with home and host country practices.
- Develop and manage assignment-related allowances and benefits, such as cost-of-living adjustments, housing allowances, and hardship premiums.
- Coordinate with the benefits team to ensure international assignees have access to appropriate health, retirement, and other benefits.
- Participate in benchmarking surveys to ensure the competitiveness of international compensation and benefits packages.
- Payroll:
- Manage ipayroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and allowances to assignees in various locations.
- Coordinate with global payroll providers to ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate reporting of international payroll data for accounting and compliance purposes.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international employment laws, tax regulations, and immigration requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to international assignments, taxation, compensation, and payroll.
- Develop and generate reports on international mobility trends, costs, and compliance.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to international HR processes.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate effectively with HR colleagues, finance, legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless international assignment processes.
- Build strong relationships with international assignees and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization regarding international mobility, taxation, compensation, and payroll matters.

Core Required Skills and Competencies: | - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in international mobility, taxation, compensation, and payroll administration.
- Strong knowledge of international tax laws, regulations, and tax equalization processes.
- Experience managing international assignments, including relocation, immigration, and repatriation.
- Familiarity with international compensation and benefits practices.
- Experience with international payroll processes and working with global payroll providers.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamin a fast-paced, environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) is a plus.
- Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
