Head of Total Rewards at Midland Credit Management located in Gurugram. The role involves overseeing job evaluation, compensation benchmarking and performance management. The role is also responsible for benefits administration like group medical and life insurance, retirals management and health and wellbeing initiatives. This role would also administer the local talent management and succession planning process and utilize analytical skills to enhance the company's total rewards strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and administer competitive total rewards strategies, including compensation, benefits, and other wellbeing programs. 20%
  • Ensure cost competitiveness, hiring effectiveness and consistency with local market trends while meeting organizational objectives.10%
  • Manage compliance with all governmental regulations related to compensation and benefits programs and timely reporting. 10%
  • Provide leadership to and direct supervision of total rewards team members through effective coaching and performance management. 10%
  • Resolves disputes and communicates with clients in cases that cannot be routinely handled by members of the total rewards team. 10%
  • Oversee the review, communication, and implementation of the annual group health and life insurance plans renewal process 20%
  • Manage the mid-year/annual performance review timelines and the mid-year/ annual total compensation review. 20%

Qualification Required

  • Postgraduate degree in business or human resources and/or relevant SHRM/CCP certifications.
  • 10+ years of work experience out of which at least 10 years in Compensation and Benefits space.
  • Extensive experience in conducting salary surveys, compensation reviews, and benefits management.
  • Proactive, fast learner, flexible in thinking and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to consult, problem solve, coach, and advise all levels of employees on total rewards programs.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to strategically solve problems and consult stakeholders.
  • Successful record of managing multiple projects, strategic thinking and executing with a "hands on" approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience in influencing senior leaders and leading teams.
  • Strong Microsoft system skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other tools such as Workday, HRMS.
